One time, when I was wondering about these same questions, I put an ad up on Craigslist as a sociological experiment. I said I was a woman who wanted oral satisfaction & had no intention of reciprocating. I got over 200 responses over the course of a week.
OkCupid collected some stats about what kind of people report enjoying giving oral sex; you can click here to see the graph they made out of their data. It concludes that men are much more likely to enjoy performing oral sex (which I gather is because, assuming that the majority of people polled were heterosexual, cunnilingus is less intrusive & has less chance of hurting you than fellatio does).
I don’t know if there’s a specific personality type that would be a good predictor as to whether someone has cunnilingus skills; it’s hard to know. I’m in the same lucky boat, I’ve ended up with exclusively people who thought cunnilingus is rad. One common thread, I guess, is that all of my partners have been very open-minded, enthusiastic, & generous, both in & out of the bedroom. I really believe that sexual behavior can be a decent predictor of non-sexual behavior, & vice versa!
